Brigit's Steamed Broccoli and Mushrooms
Ingredients
(Serves 4)
2 pounds
Broccoli
1 pound
Mushrooms
3
Bay leaves
2 Tbs.
Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
2
Lemons (juice plus halves)
1 Tsp.
Sea salt
Preparation
•
Wash broccoli thoroughly and cut into pieces.
•
Wash mushrooms thoroughly and slice them.
•
Steam in pressure cooker turning heat off as soon as steam starts hissing. If usung a regular pan, steam for 2 to 4 minutes then turn off heat and keep covered.

Simple, fast and healthful, can we ask for more.

Season EVOO,
balsamic vinegar from Modena
, and sea salt or
Spike Original Magic
to taste. Alternatively use your favorite seasoning.
