Brigit's Steamed Broccoli and Mushrooms

Ingredients (Serves 4)
2 pounds Broccoli
1 pound Mushrooms
3 Bay leaves
2 Tbs. Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
2 Lemons (juice plus halves)
1 Tsp. Sea salt
Preparation
Wash broccoli thoroughly and cut into pieces.
Wash mushrooms thoroughly and slice them.
Steam in pressure cooker turning heat off as soon as steam starts hissing. If usung a regular pan, steam for 2 to 4 minutes then turn off heat and keep covered.

Simple, fast and healthful, can we ask for more.
Season EVOO, balsamic vinegar from Modena, and sea salt or Spike Original Magic to taste. Alternatively use your favorite seasoning.

Prosecco DOCG Extra Dry, Pinot Grigio DOC Colli Orinetali del Friuli, Chianti DOCG Guarninente, Monica di Sardegna DOC, Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC.
