Spicy Tuna, with Beans, Onions, Capers and Herbs

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients (Serves 4)
1/8 Onion, sliced very finely Julienne style
1 Tsp. Capers
2 Fresh chili pepper, minced
Mint leaves to taste
Basil leaves to taste
12 Tbs. Beans
1 can (7oz. - 198 gr.) Albacore tuna in water
1 Tsp. Fennel seeds
Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) to taste
Sea salt to taste.
Preparation
Put sliced onion, minced chili pepper, capers, mint and basil leaves in a large bowl.
Add beans and tuna completely drained of water.
Add fennel seeds and season with sea salt, EVOO and freshly ground pepper (optional) to taste.
Toss and serve.

Comments
You may use flavored EVOO with either mint, basil, or fennel seeds.
The onion, chili pepper, mint and basil help digest the beans.
Simple, fast, and very satisfying.
If you don't like spicy food, it can be prepared without chili pepper as well.
