Steamed Broccoli with Pine Nuts |

| Ingredients (Serves 4 as side dish) |
| 1 |
Broccoli head cut into florets |
| 2 Tbs. |
Pine nuts |
| 2 Tbs. |
Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) |
| 1 Tbs. |
Balsamic vinegar |

Juice of 1 lemon |

Sea salt or Spike Original Magic to taste |
| Preparation |
| • |
Steam broccoli in large saucepan with steaming basket for 8 minutes, or until reaching desired tenderness. |

Drizzle with EVOO, lemon juice and balsamic vinegar. |

Sprinkle sea salt or Spike to taste and toss. |
| • |
Sprinkle on pine nuts. |

May be served hot or cold as antipasto or as side dish. |

Date and keep the water in which you broccoli was steamed, as it makes for an excellent vegetable broth for future soups. It should last a couple of weeks if thightly closed and refrigerated. |
